I had a great time in Italy! The family were great and I got along with my host mum really well. I loved living in Italy and experiencing their culture first hand, I met so many great people and was welcomed into the family. I learnt so much about their culture especially around Christmas and new years and it was a bit of a shock as it was so different to a Christmas spent at home but I still had a great time and it was very hard to leave the family when it was time to go home. Thank you for all your help and support whilst I was on this trip, it didn’t go unnoticed.

I wanted to let you know that everything is going very well with my family. Their child and I get along very well and he understands English exceptionally well for a six year old. They are also helping me learn some Italian. Silvia in particular made sure I had an enjoyable week and connected me with a friend of hers who showed me around a lot of Rome. The family live in a gorgeous coastal town on the East coast of Italy, south of the historic town of San Morino, and not far from Venice. It is on the train line so there is easy access to other areas of Italy. They have a 3 year old daughter who requires care for about 5 hours each day. A little housework daily is also required. The father works as a sales manager and the mother stays at home. The au pair/nanny will be provided with her own apartment next door to the family home.
