“I wish to dedicate a post to JCR Au Pairs & Nannies – the agency I went through to get my placement in the UK. They have been fantastic. For anyone who wants a gap year (or an adventure year like me), I totally recommend them. Really friendly folk who’ll answer any little question and make sure you know what to do. Though it’s a pretty involved process to make an application for host families to look at, I think it’s worth it because you know that JCR are making the effort to check the characters of all people involved. They called everyone I used as a reference! And I want to thank all those people too. Obviously the nice things said outweighed the bad… So thank you for all your hard work, and reassuring emails!! – Jess in the UK

“JCR are amazing and they did a great job with my UK Placement. I can’t thank the team enough.”
My name is Taylor, I moved to London to be an au pair. It was a great experience and one I will never forget. Living in London was a great change and I was placed with two little girls, 3 years and 6 years old.
I loved living with them, however at times it was hard as it seems you are never away from your job. You just need to be able to distance yourself when you have finished your day.
The girls were so sweet and it was lovely to be able to see them grow and teach them new things. On school holidays I took them to places like the Zoo, and Southbank, and whatever we did we had fun.
All up I thoroughly enjoyed my placement! – Taylor in London
