1. Au Pair Program

Work 25-35 hours p/wk of childcare and light housework
Sole care for children aged 3+ according to your experience and preferences, or help mother at home with younger children. Duties may include driving to daycare/school/activities, supervising, playing, helping with homework, snacks and meals, bath and bed.
Babysitting as required
6 – 12 month placements available all year round

Receive

Own room, all meals
Earn around £200 – £300 (A$381 – A$572) per week as your spending money 25 – 30hrs – no living costs!
2 days free time per week
2-4 weeks paid holidays
Assistance with visa, flights and insurance
Opportunities to make new friends from all over the world
24/7 support throughout your placement

Eligible

Aged 18 – 30, (35 from 31/1/2024) non-smoker
Have 60+ hours of childcare experience eg babysitting, teaching, tutoring or coaching. No qualification required
Driving licence preferred but not essential
Strong sense of responsibility and a positive attitude

Our guarantee – no placement – no charge!
Placement fee – $1145
Payable after we have arranged your signed placement agreement with your chosen host family
Visa application fees paid direct to the British Consulate approx £ 244 plus UK health care (similar to medicare) approx £ 470 per year – rates are determined by the British Consulate
Specialised visa assistance (optional but highly advised) JCR recommend “Restless World”
Travel insurance – JCR can arrange competitively priced travel insurance through Cover-More

2. Mothers Help Program

Work 30-50 hours p/wk of childcare and light housework
Care for children of any age according to your experience and preferences. Duties may include some sole care, driving to daycare/school/activities, playing, helping with homework, snacks and meals, bath and bed.
Babysitting as required
12 month placements available all year round

Receive

Own room, all meals
Earn £130 – £330 plus (A$245-$600) per week as your spending money – no living costs!
1.5 – 2 days free time per week
4 weeks paid holidays
Assistance with visa, flights and insurance
Opportunities to make new friends from all over the world
24/7 support throughout your placement

Eligible

Aged 18 – 30, (35 from 31/1/2024) non-smoker
Have 100+ hours of childcare experience, no qualification required
Driving licence preferred but not essential
Strong sense of responsibility and a positive attitude

Without no professional visa assistance help or has British passport $995
Payable after we have arranged your signed placement agreement with your chosen host family

3. Nanny Program

Work 35-55 hours p/wk of childcare and housework relating to the children
Sole care of children any age, according to your experience and preferences
Duties will include doing everything for the children: planning activities, feeding/meals, weaning, toilet training, laundry, tidying bedrooms and play areas
Babysitting by arrangement
12 month placements available all year round

Receive

Own room, all meals
Earn £220 – £400 plus per week (A$420-740) per week as your spending money – no living costs!
1.5 – 2 days free time per week
4 weeks paid holidays

Assistance with visa
24 hour emergency support throughout your placement

Recent UK family placements

FAMILY – require a full-time live-in nanny for two boys aged 2 and 6 months.

The family live in Southfields a SW London suburb, plenty of shops, parks, coffee bars and restaurants and very good transport links to central London, approximately 20 minutes by underground.

There are lots of nannies in the local area so opportunity for a rich social life. Looking after 2 school age children and a 2-year-old who attends nursery school 2 days per week.

Full board and keep, own room and ensuite, car available for use, weekends free and extra half day possible each week and earn £300 – £350 net salary per week.

Recent UK family placements

FAMILY – Family require a mother’s help to look after their two boys – Toby aged 5 and Alex aged 2.

The 5-year-old attends full time school and the 2 year old will attend nursery 5 mornings a week from September.

The family live in Clapham South which is a SW London suburb which has plenty of shops, parks, coffee bars, restaurants – in fact everything you could possibly require and very good transport links to central London, taking approximately 15-20 minutes by tube or train.

The family have a Victorian semi-detached three storey house with small garden.

Both boys love swimming and this has been encouraged from a very early age.

The family keep a Labrador so a dog lover is also important. They keep a cleaner for the heavier duties of the house. Driving is not necessary.

The mother’s help will be offered their own newly refurbished large bedroom with adjoining facilities (sole use). Overall the family aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed home and a supportive and pleasant working environment.

£250-300 weekly salary offered.
