The time it takes to find a host family overseas depends on a couple of factors. We have done placements in as little as 4 weeks.

Once we receive your documentation we can normally introduce families straight away

If you are looking a long time in advance of your required start date, it can take a little longer to see the first introductions as families tend to work 4-6 month in advance.

Flexibility on the type of family, wages, family location, ages of the children you desire can all have an impact on the number of families available.

Most placements take around 3 months from start to finish.

We recommend you allow around 3 months if possible
